Installing a new pool fence
Installing a new pool, let alone a new pool fence, can be daunting with so many products being available on the market. However, while asthetics is important, choosing a high quality fencing product, and insisting on the best quality installation is vital for the safety of your family.

Maintaining your pool fence
Pool safety is as much about maintaining your pool fence, as ensuring installing a high quality pool fence in the first place. There are specific things you, as a pool owner can do to ensure your pool fence is maintained properly.
These include:
- have your pool inspected and certified
- ensure the latch closes automatically and cannot get caught and stay open
- regularly check your fence and gate latches for damage and have them repaired promptly when necessary.
Pool owners should note that different regulations apply to pool fences depending on when the pool was built, and copies of these regulations can be downloaded from the Queensland government's website.
